Key responsibilities

  • Undertake weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Download bank transfer transactions daily for the bank accounts allocated
  • Raise payments on the bank platform as required
  • Process accurately a high number of transactions daily for the bank accounts allocated
  • Ensure receipts and payments are coded and posted to the correct ledgers, cost centres, nominal ledger codes and departments where applicable

You need to be able to demonstrate

  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
  • Highly numerate
  • Able to work confidently
  • Flexibility in approaching work situations
  • High level skills of using Microsoft Office packages and accounting packages
  • At least 1 years' experience with purchase ledger/bookkeeping experience (desirable)
  • Experience of using Navision and NatWest banking platform (desirable)
