Whatyou'll do

As a QualityManager, you’ll be making sure that only well designed and builtwork packages get through quality testing. You’ll aim to get itright first time for our customers through innovative service andsolutions, utilising automation where possible and working closelywith stakeholders in an Agile and collaborative environment. We’llalso look to you to produce comprehensive and robust qualitystrategies and detailed quality test plans, enabling the continualflow of work packages across the domain, platform value stream orprogramme.

Additionally,you’ll be:

  • Takingaccountability for all aspects of quality across both run andchange and business as usual activity within the assigned platformor domain
  • Overseeing the output quality fromall testing phases owned and making sure it meets the requirementsof each quality test strategy
  • Making suredefects are detected and prioritised, based on impact, and resolvedat the earliest possible moment and before the last responsiblemoment
  • Undertaking end-to-end test managementincluding planning, risk, issue, dependency management, lessonslearnt and governance
  • Reviewing all keycollateral relating to delivery and making sure it is of sufficientquality and with no gaps orduplication

Theskills you'll need

We’relooking for someone with strong knowledge and understanding ofquality standards, quality best practices, and our risk andcontrols framework. You’ll also need high levels of knowledge anddemonstrable application of modern testing and quality practicesand techniques used with Agilemethodologies.

Additionally,we’ll be lookingfor:

  • Practicalexperience of quality strategy and planning, testing design andexecution
  • Experience in functional andnon-functional testing such as system, system integration, user,load, volume, stress, security, accessibility, compatibility,penetration and back-out
  • The ability to relateeveryday work to the strategic vision of the feature, platform,domain and enterprise teams, with a strong focus on businessoutcomes
  • The ability to communicate complextechnical concepts clearly to peers andmanagement
  • Good collaboration and stakeholdermanagement skills
