Role Overview:

As a pivotal member of our team at Tomgandhi Consulting Ltd, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our Avaloq systems. Your expertise will guide the testing processes and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain comprehensive Test Policies and Plans.
  • Provide accurate estimations for testing efforts.
  • Oversee defect management and reporting processes.
  • Design, implement, and refine automated tests utilizing the TestMaster tool.
  • Manage and maintain test environments, ensuring readiness and baseline definitions.
  • Utilize tools for tracking defects, statistics, and requirements coverage.
  • Document and report testing outcomes, while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Drive continuous enhancements in Test Management processes.
  • Maintain existing automation test suites to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Orbium's TestMaster for test automation.
  • Strong understanding of the Avaloq Banking suite and related workflows.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as PL/SQL and Avaloq script.
  • Insight into banking and wealth management business processes.
  • Quality-focused, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience with JIRA and ALM tools.

Required Skills:

  • Avaloq Testing Expertise
  • Web and Mobile Banking Testing
  • Understanding of Testing Methodologies
  • Experience in Banking or Finance Regulatory Environments
  • Proficiency in Avaloq Banking Solutions
  • Knowledge of MicroFocus QC/ALM
  • Familiarity with JIRA and MS Office Suite
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Testing
  • Knowledge of TDD and BDD practices
  • API Testing Skills
  • ISTQB Certification or equivalent qualification
