  • In thisrole, you’ll lead a team to identify and manage transactional andemployee conflicts of interest and assist in the maintenance ofbank’s information barriers
  • You’ll be providingleadership, direction, inspiration, motivation, coaching andsupport to key role holders to maximise business performance andmake sure that the key objectives areachieved
  • This is an opportunity to gainexposure as you maintain relationships with Technology partners,managing the development roadmap of the control room systems on abank-wide, risk-basedbasis

Whatyou'll do

As Head ofTransactional Conflicts, you’ll be leading a specialist team,setting strategy, objectives, priorities and plans in line withbusiness needs and regulatoryexpectations.

On top of this,you’ll be:

  • Actingas a point of contact for business stakeholders and advising onappropriate policies and procedures to identify and manageconflicts
  • Assisting in the upgrades to theinformation barrier framework, monitoring and controlling the flowof confidential and inside information between our private andpublic side businesses
  • Operationally managingcontrol room activity, including all processes and controls,effectively deploying resource acrossworkstreams
  • Monitoring and managing servicewithin agreed service levels with forward planning to maximiseefficiency and effectiveness of theteam
  • Managing the control room controlenvironment, making sure all controls are completed with risk-basedassurance andtesting

Theskills you'llneed

In thisfast-paced environment, you’ll need experience of leadingspecialist, highly technical teams, paired with a deepunderstanding of the regulatory ecosystem as it relates tocommercial and investmentbanking.

You’ll alsobring:

  • Technicalknowledge of conflicts of interest and market conduct regulationfrom a control room or compliance background
  • Anunderstanding of anti-bribery and corruption legislation and itsinteraction with banking activities
  • Knowledgeof regulatory oversight and enforcement frameworks and expectationswith regards to systems and controls
  • Theability to convey complex concepts, risks and issues in a clear andconcise manner to diverseaudiences
