What you'lldo

In your new role, you’lllead a work initiative, preparing, managing and providing reportingon all project plans, controls and resource plans. You’ll make surethat activities are in place to adequately prepare the business andengage all the appropriate stakeholders effectively to enablechange to be implemented and handedover.

Additionally, you’ll bebuilding and maintaining a positive working relationship withsenior stakeholders across multiple franchises, domains andfunctions and at different levels of hierarchy and as part of thisyou’ll be required to produce executive level presentations. Aswell as this, you may lead a team of external suppliers, workingclosely with supply chain services for the appropriate supplierselection from ourframework.

You’ll alsobe:

  • Empowering andleading a team, often in multiple geographies, through the projectlifecycle
  • Identifying, tracking, managing andmitigating any project risks, assumptions, issues anddependencies
  • Leading and defining projectdocumentation and making sure that the solution clearly supportsand is aligned to our strategic goals
  • Trackingand reporting project costs and making sure that the project iscompleted in allotted budgets
  • Making sure thatall project deliverables satisfy the requirements and that theyadhere to the agreed governanceframework
  • Shaping business cases or benefitsrealisation and securing funding via investmentprocesses
  • Addressing policy and controlshortfalls and audit findings and implementing strategic solutionsin response

Theskills you'll need

You’llneed to hold an appropriate project management qualification, aswell as have experience in change management. You’ll needexperience of delivering change within a banking Operations teamdriving measurable business outcomes. You should be comfortableworking with ambiguity and have the ability to pay keen attentionto detail and a drive to understand emerging technical capabilitiesand how these might be leveraged byOperations.

It'll be ideal ifyou have experience of Agile processes and ceremonies as will be afamiliarity with Model Riskgovernance.

You’ll alsoneed:

  • Experience ofdriving large scale automation or AI with a drive to understandemerging technical capabilities and how these might be leveraged byOperations
  • Experience of analysing a broadrange of data such as Operational, Technology, Finance and HR tosupport problem solving and decisionmaking
  • Strong organisational skills and theability to produce executive levelpresentations
  • Excellent interpersonal andcollaborative skills with the ability to engage and communicatewith multiple stakeholders at senior level across thebank
  • Critical thinking skills, enabling you tocut through complexity, and make sound decisions andrecommendations that are carefully balanced againstrisk
