About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Centre of Excellence Technician to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our Centre of Excellence team, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day activities of our food and packaging designers and projects across the business platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain pilot-scale equipment to test and refine industrial processes, ensuring safety and accuracy in data collection.
  • Support the Food and Packaging designers with projects within the CoE and plants, ensuring they have the necessary resources to maximize success levels.
  • Manage and continuously improve raw materials and finished food controls.
  • Maintain and develop our control and development systems, including safety, training, food hygiene, maintenance, and 3D printing.
  • Prepare ingredients and equipment ready for project activity.
Requirements
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene principles and material management.
  • Previous factory-based experience.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, Teams, Excel, and SAP.
  • Ability to promote collaboration and relationships across the business.
