Job Title: Centre of Excellence Technician

As a Centre of Excellence (CoE) Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day activities within our Manchester factory. Your primary objective will be to provide the highest level of support to both our food and packaging designers and projects across the business platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take responsibility for maintaining, supporting, and developing the day-to-day running of a CoE facility.
  • Support the Food and Packaging designers with projects within the CoE and plants, ensuring they have the necessary support to maximize success levels.
  • Manage and continuously improve raw materials and finished food controls.
  • Take ownership for maintaining and developing our control and development systems, including safety, training, food hygiene, maintenance, and 3D printing.
  • Prepare ingredients and equipment ready for project activity.
Requirements:
  • An understanding of basic food hygiene principles and material managing is required.
  • Previous factory-based experience is essential.
  • Basic computer skills are required for applications such as email, Teams, Excel, and SAP.
  • The ability to promote collaboration and relationships across the business is crucial.
