The service you willwork in….

Act as HR partner tomanagers in a specified client group, enabling the delivery of thehighest level of service quality to our service users through ourpeople. Play an instrumental role in the transformation of Hestiaservices in line with the five-year strategy, including taking alead role on any reward related activity.

A day in this role lookslike….

As a HR BusinessPartner atHestia, you will play a crucial role in our HR Team.Yourcontributions will directly influence the lives of our serviceusers, guiding them towards a path of empowerment andindependence.

A day will never look the same andsome of the things you can expect to do/be responsible forare:

  • Partner with aligned clientgroups to deliver Hestia's strategic and operational goals andsupport the delivery of the HR five-year strategy
  • Advise aligned client groups on organisational change,including restructures, TUPE activity and new serviceimplementation
  • To coach and develop linemanagers to role model the organisation values and promotediversity
  • Liaise with the Learning andDevelopment Manager to support and promote Hestia's annual In-houseLearning and Development portfolio into services
  • Become a Diversity & Inclusion champion
  • Review diversity & inclusion policy, process andprocedures updating these
  • Act as a ‘Champion'for Diversity & Inclusion and participate in Hestia's Diversity& Inclusion groups and initiatives.
  • Driveand guide the organisation in achieving success in their DisabilityConfident Employer journey
  • Develop a Manager'sguide to Disabilities and reasonable adjustments in theworkplace.
  • Support with Equality ImpactAssessment as part of policy review and projectdevelopment
  • In collaboration with the HROfficer, promote HR services through the deliver of HR Managementinduction and Quarterly newsletter.
  • Identification and implementation of opportunities forchange and review of the HR team internal communications andpromotion of our services.
  • Support with thedevelopment of the HR intranet pages to ensure this providesemployees with relevant information and guidance about all thingspeople related
  • Actively participate withHestia's colleague consultative forum and support with thedevelopment, growth and success of thisproject/initiative.
  • Ad hoc related projects,as required
  • Provide specialist advice andguidance to the HR team and to managers within Hestia on allaspects of HR policy, practice and employee relations, discussingwith, or referring matters to, the Director as required
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of HR services within Hestiawhich include dealing with employee relations issues such ascapability, ill-health, grievances, andharassment/bullying
  • Keep abreast of changes inlegislation and contribute to the development and implementation ofany new or revision to Hestia HR strategy as required
  • Work with other members of the HR and Communications andEngagement team to ensure that the services which are providedcomply with the law
  • Use data to assess thequality of delivery against targets and organisational processrequirements (i.e. appraisal completion) for aligned client groupsand inform the training needs of managers
  • Provide timely and accurate transactional HR/payroll datato the HR service centre for all employee related processes, e.g.TUPE transfer, due diligence and restructuring activity
  • To ensure that all electronic and manual personnelrecords are kept appropriately and reviewed as required bylegislation and Hestia policy
  • Prepare reportsto the HR Director as and when required and contribute toorganisational reporting such as Charity commission reportsOther
  • To take on other reasonable tasks andfunctions as the organisation develops and as requested by theDirector - Human Resources.
