Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team and lead our operational departments to new heights of success.
Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience:

  • Evaluate and action guest feedback to ensure positive and consistent service results.
  • Consistently focus on ways to improve and drive customer service standards across all departments.

Team Management:

  • Manage and coach department heads and team members to ensure adherence to brand and company standards.
  • Lead and promote a positive working environment, driving excellent engagement from the team.
  • Plan and prepare training plans for team members to encourage upskilling and professional development.
  • Conduct performance reviews and regular catch-up meetings with team members, addressing any concerns appropriately.

Operational Excellence:

  • Understand and review brand standards to ensure departmental compliance at all times.
  • Maintain effective communication with all departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure all equipment is used safely and correctly, in line with company guidelines and risk assessments.

Financial Management:

  • Understand and monitor average room rate, occupancy, and departmental budget and figures.
  • Control payroll costs for departments in line with budget and forecasted business levels.
  • Maximise commercial opportunities by driving upselling initiatives within departments.
  • Monitor guest accounts to ensure accurate posting of charges, working closely with revenue and finance departments.

Strategic Planning:

  • Set and distinguish clear objectives for team members in line with the hotel business plan.
  • Encourage and implement ideas for improvement from employees to create a versatile and efficient team.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
