Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House Hotel. As a key member of our hotel's management team, you will be responsible for leading the Front of House department and ensuring operational excellence in all areas of the hotel.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, motivate, and coach the front office team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet audit targets.
  • Loyalty Program Management: Drive the ALL Accor Loyalty program and ensure program benefits are applied to our loyal guests.
  • Duty Management: Manage shifts and ensure seamless operations during peak periods.
  • Target Achievement: Exceed departmental targets and identify new opportunities to increase profit contributions and cost control.
  • Revenue and Sales Activities: Participate in revenue and sales activities operated by head office and implement specific operational activities.
  • Staff Recruitment and Training: Recruit and train new staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Guest Experience: Create a memorable guest experience by resolving customer complaints and dealing with guest enquiries.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or supervisor position.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Good communication and customer contact skills.
  • Results-Oriented: Results and service-oriented with an eye for details.
  • Multi-Tasking and Stress Management: Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful and high-pressure situations.
