Main duties include:

  • Management of Accounts Payable / Purchase ledger processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Responsible for a team of Purchase Ledger Assistants, including coordinating workload, provide mentoring and support, assessing training needs and tracking development.
  • Recording and payment of Invoices
  • Regular monitoring of debit balances to ensure timely resolution
  • Coordination and close out of month end processes and routines to strict deadlines
  • Calculation of monthly accruals and prepayments
  • Balance Sheet reconciliation
  • Calculation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
  • Forecasting of Purchase Ledger cash requirement

Suitable candidates should have the following:

  • Strong background in Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger focused roles
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume workload, maintaining accuracy throughout

Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
