Linux Administrator

In this role, you will maintain and enhance our Linux-based infrastructure, including on-premises and AWS environments. Key responsibilities include ensuring system reliability and uptime, supporting migrations to AWS, implementing monitoring processes, and maintaining security.

You need strong technical skills, teamwork, careful planning, and good documentation. Effective communication and the ability to work independently are essential for our UK-wide, remote team.

Exposure to the following would be beneficial:

  • Linux (Red-Hat)
  • Great understanding of Networking
  • Scripting experience - Bash or Python
  • Ansible
  • Understanding of AWS

Pluses:

  • Ruby knowledge
  • Terraform knowledge

The role is essentially remote, but with an Edinburgh based hub:

  • Scotland based staff only being in office working two days a month.
  • Wider UK, once a quarter in office

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
