Job Title: Workshop Supervisor

Location: Ellesmere Port

Salary: Depending on experience

Job type: Full Time, 8.30 - 5.00 Monday to Thursday 8.30 - 4.00 Friday.

The Candidate:

Must be able to work unsupervised in a busy environment. The candidate should be methodical, carrying out and supervising the throughput of a workshop which services industrial and contract customers.

'-Minimum 2 year experience of working in a fast paced environment'-Effective organisational skills'-Attention to detail and a high standard of work'-Proven ability and aptitude as an electrician'-Previously worked on distribution units and switch gear and knowledge of the construction industry is also desirable.'-City & Guilds 2360/2330 Parts 1&2 - or equivalent'-NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation - or equivalent'-BS7671 17th Edition Test & Inspection 2391 or equivalent is desirable

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

'-Assembling and testing a wide range of electrical plant such as MDA and various switchgear and site temporary electrical products.'-Technical supervisory knowledge so as to be able to work on own proficiently and carry out fault finding and service without supervision in the most efficient and economical manner.'-Comply with Company Health & Safety Policy including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.

Benefits:

'-20 days holiday rising to 25 days after 5 yrs.'-Finish at 4 on a Friday.
