As a leading manufacturer and supplier to the electrical industry, Starling Enterprises Ltd is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on electrical installations and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test a wide range of electrical plant, including MDA and switchgear, to ensure high-quality products.
  • Provide technical supervision and guidance to ensure efficient and economical work practices.
  • Conduct fault finding and service tasks without supervision, adhering to company health and safety policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company housekeeping standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in electrical installations and manufacturing.
  • Effective organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and a high standard of work, with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Proven ability and aptitude as an electrician, with knowledge of distribution units and switchgear.
  • City & Guilds 2360/2330 Parts 1&2 or equivalent, with a strong understanding of electrical installation principles.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent, with a focus on technical supervision and guidance.
  • BS7671 17th Edition Test & Inspection 2391 or equivalent, with a strong understanding of electrical safety and testing.
