The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Workshop Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing electrical plant, including MDA and switchgear, and will have technical supervisory knowledge to work independently and carry out fault finding and service without supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembling and testing electrical plant, including MDA and switchgear
  • Technical supervisory knowledge to work independently and carry out fault finding and service without supervision
  • Complying with Company Health & Safety Policy and maintaining a tidy work area

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability and aptitude as an electrician
  • NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • BS 7671 / 18th Edition Test & Inspection 2391 or equivalent is desirable
