Job Title: Electrical Workshop Assistant

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Workshop Assistant to join our team at Starling Enterprises Ltd. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for carrying out and supervising the throughput of a workshop that services industrial and contract customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembling and testing a wide range of electrical plant, including MDA and various switchgear and site temporary electrical products.
  • Carrying out technical supervisory duties, working on own proficiently and carrying out fault finding and service without supervision in the most efficient and economical manner.
  • Complying with Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working on distribution units and switchgear.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is desirable.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation - or equivalent.
  • BS7671 17th/18th Edition Test & Inspection 2391 or equivalent is desirable.
