Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Workshop Assistant to join our team at Starling Enterprises Ltd. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing a wide range of electrical plant, including MDA and various switchgear and site temporary electrical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test electrical plant, including MDA and switchgear, to ensure high-quality products.
  • Provide technical supervisory knowledge to work independently and efficiently, carrying out fault finding and service without supervision.
  • Comply with company health and safety policies, including general housekeeping to maintain a tidy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability and aptitude as an electrician, with knowledge of distribution units and switchgear.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • BS7671 17th/18th Edition Test & Inspection 2391 or equivalent is desirable.
