As construction and industrial specialists, we can provide you with a wide variety of goods to suit all your requirements.
The Candidate:
Must be able to work unsupervised in a busy environment. The candidate should be methodical, carrying out and supervising the throughput of a workshop which services industrial and contract customers.
* Minimum 2 year experience of working in a fast paced environment
* Effective organisational skills
* Attention to detail and a high standard of work
* Proven ability and aptitude as an electrician
* Previously worked on distribution units and switch gear and knowledge of the construction industry is also desirable.
* City & Guilds 2360/2330 Parts 1&2 – or equivalent
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation – or equivalent
* BS7671 17th Edition Test & Inspection 2391 or equivalent is desirable
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Assembling and testing a wide range of electrical plant such as MDA and various switchgear and site temporary electrical products.
* Technical supervisory knowledge so as to be able to work on own proficiently and carry out fault finding and service without supervision in the most efficient and economical manner.
* Comply with Company Health & Safety Policy including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
Benefits:
* 20 days holiday rising to 25 days after 5 yrs.
* Finish at 4 on a Friday.
