Senior Planning Manager

We're looking for a Senior Planning Manager to join our team in Huntingdon to work for our Anglian Water Alliance.

Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

Contract: Permanent - Full Time

Our team is essential in driving the success of the Metering Alliance, where we lead the planning of our AMP8 smart meter program. We ensure that both our operational and office teams work collaboratively to deliver efficient smart meter installations.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Planning Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering the smart metering rollout plan which will include creating annual forecasts for work volumes and resources and also collaborating with partners to ensure resource availability.
  • Leading the delivery planning and job raising functions: and also develop planning models to optimize customer contact and internal operations.
  • Overseeing the development of training programs and ensure the training portfolio is up-to-date and compliant.

What will your day to day look like?

Your day to day will include:

  • Develop and execute the smart metering plan, coordinating resources and aligning with stakeholders for seamless implementation.
  • Oversee planning models, resource allocation, and the training program to ensure operational efficiency and team capability.
  • Collaborate on strategic initiatives, monitor performance, and implement improvements to enhance program effectiveness and value delivery.
