Job Description

Pure Resourcing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to support the integration of a recently acquired business. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting to aid management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review management accounts, including P&L and Balance Sheet, to ensure accurate financial statements and provide insightful commentary on variances to Budget and Last Year.
  • General Ledger Management: Control and prepare general ledger entries, including prepayments, accruals, deferred income, and allocations, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Cashflow Management: Support cashflow reporting, forecasting, and monitoring to ensure the company's financial stability.
  • Analysis and Insights: Provide ad hoc analysis to budget holders to help them understand their spend and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Group Budget Management: Assist in managing the Group budget, accurately tracking spend and headcount, and prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets for business areas.
Requirements:
  • Qualified - CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Experience working with an ERP system
  • Strong Excel skills
