Join a Leading Quantity Surveying Consultancy
An established Quantity Surveying Consultancy is in search of a qualified Senior Planner to become part of their vibrant project team.
This role offers the opportunity to engage in a variety of projects, specializing in mechanical, electrical, and public health services within the construction sector. The consultancy works with prestigious clients across multiple sectors, including MOD, data centres, refurbishment, commercial, hospitality, residential, and healthcare.
About the Role
The Senior Planner will be instrumental in the successful execution of construction projects by:
- Creating detailed time plans to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Visiting various project sites as required.
- Reporting directly to project managers and senior management.
- Collaborating effectively with quantity surveyors and project managers.
- Managing essential administrative responsibilities.
- Preparing and coordinating the integrated master plan and schedule to achieve all project objectives.
- Utilizing the Asta planning software (training will be provided).
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Master’s degree in planning or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional planning experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present planning arguments effectively.
- Experience with the Asta planning software is preferred (training will be provided).
What We Offer
In return, the consultancy provides:
- A competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £65,000, based on experience.
- A site-based role with travel allowances and potential bonuses.
- Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, typically from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

- 33 days of annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
- Ongoing training opportunities, including RICS accreditation.
