This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Nurse Leader to join The Harley Street Clinic as a Deputy Chief Nurse (DCNO).  In this role you will report to the Chief Nursing Officer across the wider campus- The Harley Street Clinic, LOC and HCA at UCH.
The Deputy Chief Nurse will support the implementation of the hospital’s strategic objectives, achievement of clinical quality and finance targets, to develop and maintain clinical service lines and accept responsibility for governance and risk management for the inpatient and outpatient Oncology and Haematology nursing services.
At The Harley Street Clinic, we provide a range of complex care services, specialising in oncology, cardiology and neuroscience.  From open heart surgery to pioneering techniques to treat cancer, our clinicians work together to provide the best possible care and treatments for our patients. What you’ll bring:
RGN, NMC Registration
Oncology and/or Haematology Nursing experience, at least 5 years
Working towards master’s level or equivalent (MBA desirable)
Leadership qualification (or working towards)
At least 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership role, managing multiple service lines
Experience managing nursing fitness to practice concerns
Completed training in PSIRF, confident to run AAR’s and PSIIs
Experience in managing budgets
Experience in investigating and responding to complex incidents and complaints
Evidence of strong influencing skills
Evidence of strong oral and written communication skills
Experience of preparing for and participating in CQC regulatory activity
