What you'lldo

We'll look to you toinfluence and support architecture, platform and domain teams onthe data delivery, ensuring data is considered throughout therequirements, design and delivery lifecycle. Partnering with thewider technology teams, including the central data team, thesolution and infrastructure architects within your domain, platformand domain teams, you'll design and manage the data lifecycle.You'll elaborate the solution and it's interfaces, validatingtechnology assumptions, evaluating implementation alternatives andcreating the continuous deliverypipeline.

You'll also provideanalysis of options and deliver end-to-end solution designs usingthe relevant building blocks, as well as producing designs forfeatures that allow frequent and incremental delivery of customervalue.

On top of this, you'llbe:

Owning thetechnical design issues and driving resolution through theiteration of the technical solutiondesignParticipating in activities to shaperequirements, validating designs and prototypes to deliver changethat aligns with the targetarchitecturePromoting adaptive designpractices to drive collaboration of feature teams around a commontechnical vision using continuousfeedbackMaking recommendations of potentialimpacts to existing and prospective customers of the latesttechnology and customer trendsTranslatingbusiness requirements into technical specifications, including butnot limited to, database schemas, streaming structures and APIspecificationsPromoting the accessibility,accuracy and security of data through efficient datamanagement

Theskills you'll need

You'llbring expert knowledge of designing data intensive applicationswith working knowledge of industry architecture frameworks such asTOGAF or ArchiMate. You'll also need an understanding of Agile andcontemporary methodologies, with experience of working in Agileteams.

On top of this, you'llbring:

A solidknowledge of modern data management practices andtechnologiesExperience of defining applicationarchitectures and roadmaps for complex solutions working for alllayers of the technical architectureAbackground in delivering solutions that securely span a complexinfrastructure domainExperience of systemsdevelopment change lifecycles, best practices andapproachesKnowledge of hardware, software,application, systems engineering, cloud, event streaming,microservices and APIsThe ability tocommunicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers andleadership level colleagues
