Purchase Ledger Assistant

We are currently representing a creative business who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant. This role is perfect for someone with experience in Purchase Ledger who is looking for a stable career path. The role is office-based in Chelmsford with free parking on site, and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5 pm.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Register and authorise invoices.
  • Handle invoice queries by raising debit notes and chasing for credits.
  • Process credit notes and cancel debits as necessary.
  • Prepare and raise supplier payments.
  • Assist with the processing of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Liaise with branches to investigate internal invoice queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in Purchase Ledger is essential.
  • Positive attitude and professional attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Professional manner and personal responsibility for actions.
  • Literate and numerate.
