Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Reed. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Register and authorize invoices, handle supplier invoice queries, and process supplier credit notes and cancel debits as necessary.
  • Payment Processing: Prepare and raise supplier payments, and assist with the processing of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Communication: Liaise with branches to investigate internal invoice queries and maintain effective communication with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchase ledger transactions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in purchase ledger or a related field is advantageous, but we will consider junior candidates with a strong aptitude for numbers.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, accurate information recording, and a positive attitude are essential for this role.
  • Qualifications: Literate and numerate, with a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to develop skills and knowledge.
