Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Reed. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile invoices: Register and authorize invoices, handle supplier invoice queries, and process supplier credit notes and cancel debits as necessary.
- Manage supplier relationships: Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and ensure timely payment.
- Maintain accurate financial records: Prepare and raise supplier payments, and assist with the processing of incoming and outgoing mail.
- Support the finance team: Assist with the processing of financial transactions, and provide administrative support as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in Purchase Ledger: Advantageous, but we will consider junior candidates with a strong aptitude for numbers.
- Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
