Page Personnel Finance is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join their team in Chelmsford.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Key Responsibilities- Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile and settle supplier statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Prepare and manage payment runs, including BACS, CHAPS, and international transfers.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and colleagues.
- Assist with month-end closing, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial tasks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including purchase ledger and supplier statements.
- Previous experience in an accounts-based role, preferably in a similar function.
- Solid numerical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, including accounting and financial systems.
- A competitive salary range of £25,000 - £27,500.
