Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team at Marlborough Highways. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining great supplier relationships by ensuring all supplier accounts are fully reconciled and payments are made on time.
Key Responsibilities:- Reconcile supplier statements and process payments in a timely manner.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Process sub-contractor payments, expenses, and pro-forma invoices.
- Check bank statements for expired payments and process ad-hoc payments as required.
- Send remittances to suppliers and maintain accurate records.
- Accounts payable experience in the construction sector.
- Ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Sage 200.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
