Duties and responsibilities
*
- You will be highly experienced in managing Pre-assessments, Re-enablement and planning complex discharges
- Experience in orthopaedics is essential
- Experience in facilitating discharge with complex ward patients
- Able to demonstrate expertise in procurement of equipment to support discharge while assessing suitability of equipment for patients prior to discharge
- Able to support with home environment assessments as requested in line with needs of service
- You will need to be very adaptable, flexible and able to work within a MDT environment
Who we're looking for
- A qualified Occupational Therapist with a valid registration.
- 2 years' experience in Occupational Therapy
- NHS experience is also desirable.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Evidence of Post - Graduate learning
