Lead First Aider

Part time, Term Time (plus 5 Inset days) 

We are looking for a Lead First Aider who is able to contribute to the health and medical welfare of over 1400 students. You will be the first point of contact for any first aid emergencies. You must be a friendly and approachable person who enjoys working with young people and is able to give immediate help to pupils with common injuries and illnesses.  First Aid experience is essential for this position and previous experience of working in a school or working with young people is preferred. 

Edgbarrow School believes in setting the highest standards in all areas of school life and we are looking for a purposeful and committed individual who wants to join and enhance our strong team. We offer an excellent induction programme, promotion prospects and a highly supportive working environment. The Lead First Aider role would also qualify in the admissions process for your child to attend Edgbarrow if you live out of catchment. This would come into operation after 2 years of service.

Edgbarrow is located in the village of Crowthorne, Berkshire. It is a thriving, vibrant and high-achieving secondary school where students are polite, happy, well behaved and motivated. Crowthorne is located approximately 3 miles from Wokingham and Camberley and 12 miles from Reading. It enjoys excellent links to surrounding villages, towns and cities via the M3, M4 A329M, and local rail networks.
