The Digital Marketing team at Molecular Devices is seeking a Business Development Rep (BDR) who will will be responsible for aligning marketing efforts to the sales pipeline by filling sales pipeline with qualified opportunities while gathering information about prospective customers. We are looking for a confident, self-motivated individual who is tenacious, yet strategic, in daily outbound engagement activities. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying prospect needs by gathering information to help qualify opportunities for the sales team through various outbound activities (e.g. phone, email, LinkedIn).

What we'll get you doing:

  • Support the marketing team by conducting outbound calls and emails to schedule meetings for Sales team to help generate sales pipeline.
  • Educate and qualify prospects within Target Accounts â generate sales ready leads and opportunities.
  • Enrich our database with new contacts to expand our visibility & penetration within target accountâs buying committee. 
  • Research and create targeted lists of key decision makers that fit our ideal customer profile across our target accounts.
  • Develop compelling & personalized messaging and communication with each prospect which will be used to produce quality leads through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach.

The essential requirements of the role include:

  • Outbound cold-call experience, customer prospecting, nurturing and qualifying
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • The Life Sciences field however training can be given so don't let this put you off applying.
