Higher Level Teaching Assistant in St Leonards on Sea

About the role

Supply Desk is delighted to be able to offer a rewarding Higher Level Teaching Assistant role at an ambitious secondary school in St Leonards. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will be supporting curriculum delivery and attainment by leading intervention groups and 1:1 sessions for Pupil Premium students as required.

Key responsibilities

  • To plan and deliver intervention sessions that boost academic performance.
  • To prepare effective and engaging learning opportunities.
  • To provide feedback and action points for students to assist their progress.
    • To assist in maintaining high standards and a passion for learning across the school community.

To succeed in this role you will be

  • Experienced working with children, with a calm and patient demeanour.
  • Local to St Leonards on Sea or willing to commute
  • Adaptable to meet children s needs
  • Passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential
  • HLTA qualifications are a plus but not necessary to apply
