This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an individual with a background in fashion buying, looking for a new challenge. My client is an established yet ever growing multichannel womenswear retailer and online fashion brand which also sells in concessions across a number of high street retailers.

You will be super organised and efficient to join their friendly team and provide integral support to the Managing Director.

The Ideal candidate will have a buying background and experience within accessories would be beneficial.

Junior Buyer - The Role

A new position within the company - this is a hands on role that will evolve. Supporting the MD on a daily basis with varied tasks, ensuring his time is maximised. Provide day to day administrative support, and handling requests and queries appropriately. Identify opportunities for new products and build the range Build relationships and contact with existing suppliers along with sourcing new suppliers Negotiate prices and MOQ's with suppliers Keeping up to date with competitor research Ability to select / develop product with the target customer in mind. .

Junior Buyer - The Candidate

Ready and motivated for a challenge Buying experience Previous experience of working in an administrative role / PA within Fashion preferable Shows good initiative Highly motivated, with technical flair, excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude. Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential and candidates must be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Able to successfully work under pressure Ability to work towards target, goal and tight deadlines An understanding of a retail business or concession business would be extremely beneficial.
