About this opportunity 

Are you ready to take the next step in your career as a Senior Occupational Therapist? Join our Screening and Assessment Team within the Long Term Assessment and Review Service, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping adult social care.

We support adults aged 18+ living in the community with long-term care needs. In this senior role, you’ll collaborate with a diverse range of health, social care, and third-sector organisations across Cumbria, conducting strengths-based assessments that promote independence and reduce the need for formal long-term care. Your expertise will be key in developing comprehensive support plans that leverage community assets and enhance personal resilience.

DBS 

Conducting Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks is integral to our commitment to creating a safe and secure environment for our staff and the communities we serve. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with a Adults Barred List check. 

Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults.
