Legal Secretary

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary on behalf of our client based in Telford, Shropshire.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2+ yearsâ experience within an administrative role and will be fully proficient using Microsoft Applications.
Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am â 17:00pm with 1 hour for lunch | Office based.
Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum DOE.
Duties include but not limited to:
⢠Receiving post and scanning onto our systems.
⢠Opening files.
⢠Preparing client care documentation.
⢠Ordering searches (search packs and pre-exchange searches i.e. OS1s, bankruptcy searches, Lawyer Checker).
⢠Updating LMS/Lender Exchange regularly.
⢠Updating/chasing agents.
⢠Dealing with post completion matters i.e. AP1s, SDLTs.
⢠Dealing with exchange/completion letters.
⢠Closing files.
Ideal Candidate:
⢠2+ yearsâ experience within administration essential.
⢠Residential conveyancing background would be advantageous.
⢠Fully proficient with Microsoft applications and have experience of audio typing (preferably legal) and handling client enquiries.
⢠Excellent communication skills.
