This is an exciting time for health care education in the University, with anticipated expansion in student numbers, significant investment in resources and a growing reputation for innovation and excellence. As a result, the university is looking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Practice Learning with a focus on Nursing to continue to shape this vision. You must have significant experience in supervising and assessing nursing students in practice, partnership and strategic working and be able to engage in contemporary computer systems which support learning.

Your teaching will be informed by a combination of practical experience and/or research to support high quality learning and teaching, experience of using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), and the use of technologies to enhance the learning, assessment of and feedback to our students.

About the team

You will work within the team to strengthen the distinctiveness of the University’s student experience as high-quality, personalised, accessible and aspirational. You’ll need to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and positively within a small academic team, excellent teaching methods with the ability to develop a variety of approaches to learning and teaching that is student-centred, inclusive and flexible.
