This post is part time (12 hrs per week) and open ended.

The University of Glasgow has an exciting opportunity to appoint a Head of Medical School Student Support within the School of School of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing.

The postholder will lead the Student Support Team to provide pastoral care to medical students through a range of support, engagement, and wellbeing guidance. Working closely with the UMS Senior Management Team in providing leadership in the ongoing development and expansion of support services provided.

The post attracts 3 PAs and reports to the Head of the UMS, Professor Malcolm Shepherd. The post is a secondary appointment for an initial term of 4 years, sitting alongside the postholder’s underlying substantive role, with appropriate workload adjustments being made to accommodate.
