London, United Kingdom KPMG Full time

Job description

Audit is the largest of KPMG UK's practices. Our Audit teams examine organisations and ensure their published accounts provide a 'true and fair' view of their financial position and results. The work we do makes a meaningful difference to businesses and communities. It is critical to the everyday working of society, helps build trust in the economy and supports companies as they grow.

We audit some of the world's biggest companies, including big retailers, UK banks and multinational organisations. These organisations rely on us to provide independent insight, challenge and high-quality audit expertise. Through this work, we're also committed to helping to build sustainable organisations from an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) perspective.

Our four-week Audit Vacation Programme is your chance to gain work experience in a specific audit business area and an insight into life within our diverse and supportive audit community. The programme is designed to help you grow and develop a breadth of professional skills, giving you learning that will last you a lifetime. You'll build your commercial understanding and in-depth knowledge of different sectors and businesses and understand more about the work we do to deliver the highest quality audits.

If you're successful on the programme, you'll have the opportunity to be considered for our Audit Graduate programme in the same office location, starting in 2024.

We're creating a tech-driven business to empower and equip our people to be outstanding in delivery, no matter where they work - through inspiring collaboration spaces and new technologies. On your vacation programme, you may work flexibly across your location region - at engagement sites, our offices and home.

Join us and discover more about the world of Audit at KPMG.

Capability: Audit Programme Length: 4 weeks Qualifications: N/A Entry Requirements:

You'll generally be expected to demonstrate the following (*or equivalents). However, if you do not meet all the below, and are a few grades or points short, then we would still encourage you to apply, as you will be given the option to provide additional information that enables us to assess your application and potential in the context of your socio-economic background and/or any extenuating circumstances. Training and Development:

As the vacation programme is not that long, the focus for you will be to ensure every second counts. Above all else, it's about gaining experience on real-time, real-life projects. It's an opportunity to learn new skills, enhance your CV, learn about the world of work and, importantly, get your foot in the door of one of the leading professional services firms. And if you're inspired by the time you spend with us here and go on to join us full-time once you've graduated, you'll get access to exemplary training and development to help you thrive.

The training and development of our people is critical to the future success of our business. We want to empower our trainees to grow in their own way, to feed their curiosity and embrace a growth mindset in an environment where learning is continuous. Therefore, we have created a rich curriculum and learning community to help our trainees build skills and fulfil their potential. This ranges from an immersive 5-day induction experience to help with the transition to the world of work, formal training courses, leadership knowledge bites, learning journals, online courses and networking events - all aligned to our 'learn for a lifetime' strategy designed to help trainees gain an advantage for life. As part of your vacation programme, you will be introduced to this package and have the opportunity to experience some of the training and development curriculum and learning community.
