Postgraduate Research Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Postgraduate Research Coordinator to work with the Postgraduate Research (PGR) Manager in the service delivery for doctoral students whose research is based at Norwich Bioscience Institutes (NBI). The main focus of the role is to provide highly efficient, expert co-ordination of postgraduate research administration for applicants, students and supervisors within the NBI-based Graduate School Office and to supervise the related team. You will act as a point of specialist reference to staff and students. Working in collaboration with external partners will be a key feature of the post, in particular with NBI.
You will be responsible for NBI PGR admission procedures and processes, including the coordination of admissions to externally funded Doctoral Training Programmes, liaising across the partner organisations on the Norwich Research Park, and ensuring the prompt and accurate processing of applications.
You will have experience of working in a busy office environment with a 'customer' focus and of coordinating office activities and developing and supervising staff and processes. The role offers a varied and interesting workload working in a successful team within the PGR Service, based at the Earlham Institute, with interaction with a wide range of staff and students.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to research, gather and process information, and analyse data. In addition, you will be able to satisfy all essential criteria detailed in the person specification for this post.
This full-time post is available on an indefinite basis from 1 August 2024.
