The Postgraduate Research Service is seeking to appoint an outstanding Postgraduate Research Coordinator.

In this post you will work within the framework of the academic cycle to provide expert co-ordination of postgraduate research administration for applicants, students and supervisors working as part of the Professional Doctorates Team. You will work with the Postgraduate Research Officer to supervise and lead the team, and act as a point of specialist reference to staff and students on matters relating to professional doctorates including liaison with external NHS and education partners.

You will be able to plan and prioritise tasks effectively, analyse data, exercise judgement, and have good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work sensitively with different people. You will have recent experience of working in a similar role, proven IT skills using Microsoft Office packages and be able to satisfy all other essential criteria in the person specification for the post.

This part-time post (0.8FTE) is available from 1 May 2024 for a fixed term of two years, with a review in Spring 2025 to consider a further extension to the duration of the role.
