Business Development Manager - EU Ecommerce - fully remote excellent package and commission structure.  Individuals can be based in either Europe/Malta/UK or Ireland.
Looking for mid-level BDM's (1.5-5 years' experience) that are hungry to join a growing and progressive acquirer.  You need to come from an Acquiring or Payment Gateway background and be comfortable with selling Ecommerce acquiring (Visa and Mastercard) and gateway solutions. 
A new business hunter looking for the next step in their career to take a role in a pan-European business and owning a sector or target market becoming that go to person/expert within the organisation. 
In a high growth mode and need like minded sales people to help set the bar for growth, as they grow leadership opportunities will present themselves to those that continual achieve and lead by example.

The role: 

We are currently seeking an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager EU Ecommerce to join our expanding Commercial department. You will be responsible for building and executing the sales strategy for the European Ecommerce sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone that is career-motivated and wants to work in a demanding high-growth company and grow with the company to the next level.
Responsibilities:
 

  • Owning, delivering and exceeding the revenue objectives of the business.
  • Create and roll out the sales strategy for the Ecommerce sector.
  • Develop a sales plan aligned with the overall company business objectives.
  • Manage the entire end-to-end sales process from lead generation to closing of new business.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and management reporting.
  • Working closely with the Client Relations team and the Onboarding team to ensure seamless activation of new clients.
  • Playing a key role in the collection of customer insights to drive product development.

 Requirements:

  • Strong in new sales and pro-active pipeline management.
  • Proven successful track record in new business sales.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in eCommerce and acquiring are a must for this role (not negotiable)
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Experience in the e-commerce, card payments or financial services industry will be considered an asset.
