The Recruitment Group is working with a family-run business within the packaging industry working with food products, cosmetics, household, agricultural, and high-end consumer goods. They are committed to delivering quality solutions every single time.

Main duties and responsibilities of the New Business Development Executive

  • Market Research - Research and Identify new opportunities
  • Pipeline - Create, manage and maintain a pipeline of prospects
  • Outreach - Contact prospects using multiple forms of outreach, including cold calls, emails and LinkedIn
  • Sales Pitch Sell our USP s, service and expertise
  • Shows - Occasionally, visit exhibitions/trade shows to network
  • Recording calls, and emails and setting follow-up tasks.
  • Develop and maintain sales pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Work to sales-driven targets and KPIs and report data to senior management as and when requested.
  • Ensure CRM contains correct up to date client information.
  • Cross functional Collaboration - work alongside various teams to deliver an outstanding service
  • Gain and stay up to date on services we offer

Experience/knowledge requirements for the New Business Development Executive:

  • Computer competent - be capable of using various computer software/programmes, including but not limited to ACT (CRM), Sage, Outlook, Excel, Smartsheet, Rocketreach, Lusha, and Microsoft Office
  • Exude professionalism and provide excellent customer service
  • Previous new business development experience
  • Previous experience in packaging would be ideal but not essential
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Proactive and able to work off own initiative.
