Main duties and responsibilities of the New Business Development Executive
- Market Research - Research and Identify new opportunities
- Pipeline - Create, manage and maintain a pipeline of prospects
- Outreach - Contact prospects using multiple forms of outreach, including cold calls, emails and LinkedIn
- Sales Pitch Sell our USP s, service and expertise
- Shows - Occasionally, visit exhibitions/trade shows to network
- Recording calls, and emails and setting follow-up tasks.
- Develop and maintain sales pipeline.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Work to sales-driven targets and KPIs and report data to senior management as and when requested.
- Ensure CRM contains correct up to date client information.
- Cross functional Collaboration - work alongside various teams to deliver an outstanding service
- Gain and stay up to date on services we offer
Experience/knowledge requirements for the New Business Development Executive:
- Computer competent - be capable of using various computer software/programmes, including but not limited to ACT (CRM), Sage, Outlook, Excel, Smartsheet, Rocketreach, Lusha, and Microsoft Office
- Exude professionalism and provide excellent customer service
- Previous new business development experience
- Previous experience in packaging would be ideal but not essential
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Proactive and able to work off own initiative.
