As the Deputy General Catering Manager, you will be

  • working alongside the General Manager to drive the business forward and work with the team to grow the catering operation
  • motivating, leading and developing your team to provide the highest standard of customer service
  • maintaining client expectations as well as aiming to exceed these
  • liaise with the Head Chef on menus and dishes
  • supporting all areas in a hands on capacity when needed - this will include the kitchen
Working hours are 5/7, approx. 45 hours per week. As an ideal candidate, you will be
  • at Deputy General Manager or Chef Manager level with a proven career background in catering
  • experienced in a high volume site
  • craft trained and able to step in and manage a kitchen when needed
  • able to cater for high profile hospitality and events
  • attentive to detail and presentation
  • able to manage, train and lead a team as well as work as a team player
  • financially aware and able to manage costs and budget
  • passionate about customer service ensuring client expectations are exceeded
  • flexible and willing with a positive, can do attitude
  • energetic with enthusiasm and a genuine passion for the industry
