As an Assistant Catering Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in a dynamic catering environment that serves a high volume staff dining facility, offering breakfast, lunch, and evening services, along with all-day grazing options, grab & go selections, and prestigious hospitality events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager to enhance business performance and expand the catering services.
- Inspire, lead, and nurture your team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ensure client satisfaction while striving to surpass expectations.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef regarding menu planning and dish preparation.
- Provide hands-on support across all areas, including kitchen operations when necessary.
Working Hours: 5 days a week, approximately 45 hours per week.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience at the level of Assistant Catering Operations Manager or Chef Manager, with a solid background in catering.
- Proficient in managing high-volume catering operations.
- Preferably craft trained, with the ability to oversee kitchen management as required.
- Skilled in catering for high-profile events and hospitality functions.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on presentation.
- Able to manage, train, and lead a team while also being a collaborative team player.
- Financially savvy, capable of managing budgets and controlling costs.
- Passionate about customer service, consistently exceeding client expectations.
- Flexible, positive, and proactive in approach.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about the catering industry.
