We are looking to strengthen our team and appoint a dynamic Production Director, based at our Sheffield site, to manage and drive performance within the production function to ensure products are manufactured in a safe, efficient and profitable manner. Overall responsibility for the manufacture of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
To lead and develop an efficient manufacturing operation in line with the site plan and KPIs.
To ensure all operations in the factory are conducted to comply with current health & safety legislation by maintaining a system of internal auditing and reviews taking action to correct deficiencies.
Ensure production is achieved to meet targets established within budget.
To regularly review the performance of staff performance appraisals against agreed objectives, identifying any training and development needs.
Review production reports to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals and standards are met.
Minimum of 5 years' experience within an engineering / manufacturing discipline.
Demonstrable experience of leading a manufacturing function with a proven track record in similar role.
Significant manufacturing experience in an operational management role at a senior level
Proven project management and build quality experience.
Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development.
Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders.
Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
Production Manager, Engineering Assembly Manager, Production Planner, Material Scheduler, Project Planner, Production, Planning Manager, Planning Manager, Materials Planner, Production Scheduler, Production Controller, Materials Controller, Production Manager, Production Engineering, Production coordinator, Manufacturing Manager, Production Supervisor, Production Manufacturing, Engineering, Electronics Engineer, Electronics, Manufacturing Engineer, may also be considered for this role.
