Permit to Work Coordinator (Offshore)

Location: CPC Platform, Offshore (Mobilizing from Blackpool)

Rotation: 2/2 (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off)

Contract: Initial 1-Year Contract (PAYE Contract)

We are seeking 2 Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinators to join our Offshore Management team on the CPC platform. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to safe and efficient operations in a dynamic offshore environment. The positions are available for an immediate start, with a competitive daily pay rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tier 1 PTW Issuing Authority: Manage and issue Tier 1 permits for the CPC platform, ensuring all work is conducted safely and in compliance with procedures.
  • Daily PTW Review/Planning Meetings: Act as the primary administrator, coordinating work permits and ensuring all necessary steps are completed.
  • PTW and Isolation Tracking System: Maintain and control the tracking system, ensuring accurate records and timely updates.
  • Hazard Identification Coordination: Work with the Performing Authority and Area Technician to coordinate site visits and complete Hazard Identification Cards (HIC) to streamline permit preparation.
  • Isolation Preparation: Ensure timely preparation of isolations for upcoming workshops by managing the isolation request tracker and communicating requirements to the PTL and Production Supervisor.
  • Communication: Liaise with Offshore Leadership to communicate all aspects of daily work scopes, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Data Management: Capture and log PTW delays, issues, and efficiency data to support continuous improvement.
  • Safety Oversight: Assist the OIM, Offshore Supervisors, and Team Leads in coordinating and controlling work to maintain safe working practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience working with a permit to work system, with a strong background in administration and issuing.
  • Technical Skills: Detailed knowledge of Safe System of Work (SSoW) procedures, risk assessments, and isolation systems.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
