Conspicuous, a leading entity in the retail industry, is on the lookout for a motivated Event Coordination Specialist to enhance their dynamic marketing team. This position offers an excellent chance for individuals who are enthusiastic about event planning to assist in a range of thrilling in-store and offsite activities throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for the Events team, liaising with internal departments and the store network, while efficiently prioritizing and addressing requests.
  • Administration: Function as the main administrator for the Events team, managing responsibilities such as taking notes, creating agendas, scheduling meetings, drafting communications, proofreading, maintaining systems, and compiling reports.
  • Event Organisation: Work closely with store and boutique teams to oversee guest lists, distribute invitations, and manage overall event logistics.
  • Research: Perform research on various event components, including venues, promotional items, entertainment options, transportation, and accommodations.
  • Logistics: Coordinate event logistics, such as transporting materials and products, placing orders, managing deliveries, and sourcing suppliers as necessary.
  • Brief Creation: Prepare event briefs for photographers or influencers attending the events.
  • PR Collaboration: Partner with the PR team to organize press-related events.
  • Task Management: Ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned tasks.

Essential Skills:

  • Prior experience in event management and/or relevant qualifications.
  • A quick learner with a genuine interest in event coordination.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Confidence in engaging with colleagues, supplier agencies, and clients.
  • Proactive mindset, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective personal time management.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Experience in hospitality and customer service roles.
