The Manchester site is well established as the largest specialist logistics training facility in the UK._
- Our organisation provides training for people at all levels, from supporting individuals to gain work to developing senior managers. We also strive to improve learners’ life prosects by offering programmes such as mental health and wellbeing, digital skills, English and Maths._
- Through our two key brands of The Job Gym and The National Logistics Academy and utilising several different types of government funding that we have successfully secured, we help thousands of learners each year to gain new skills. This creates a talent pipeline that supports the long-term growth of industry, while also enhancing career prospects and the progression opportunities for our learners._
- We work with some of the biggest brands in the country, including Aldi, Wincanton and AO, delivering approximately 400 Apprenticeships, over 2500 Large Goods Vehicle licences and 1,100 Forklift Truck licences each year. The organisation is dedicated to deliver interventions that develop the ‘Skills, Knowledge and Behaviors to enable learners to thrive in life and work’._
- We have exciting opportunities for Learner Coordinators to join our friendly team. This position is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours a week based in Middleton, Greater Manchester._

**_The Role_**
- You will be the initial point of contact for learners when onboarding to programmes of learning and will provide a high-quality learner experience with clear information and guidance from the start of their journey to the final steps of the offboarding process._

**_Essential skills we are looking for in our Learner Co-ordinator_**
- _Effective verbal and written communication skills across all levels both internally and externally._
- _Ability to build effective relationships quickly both face and face and remotely._
- _Computer literate with experience of using different systems_
- _Attention to detail_
- _Clear concise communication with the ability to vary approach to achieve a positive outcome_
- _Ability to follow contractual guidelines in order to onboard and off board learners so that funding rules are met_
- _Knowledgeable of funded programmes to be able to support and signpost learners to the correct courses, links, and support._
- _Organised, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines and targets_

**_Desired Experience and Skills_**
- _Knowledge of learner eligibility and enrolment_
- _Safeguarding Level 2_
- _GCSE English and Maths Grace C/4 or above and/or Functional Skills Level 2_
- _Ability to build relationships_
- _Previous experience in an education setting_
- _Previous experience within an administrator role_
- _Previous experience of the logistics sector_
