Technical Superintendent

Red - Specialist Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Technical Superintendent to join their marine client's fleet and crewing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a fleet of owned and chartered Ro-Ro Cargo Ferries.

• Manage the general and technical operations of Ro-Ro Cargo Ferries in accordance with company and statutory requirements.
• Ensure vessels are maintained in a safe and seaworthy condition, adhering to Flag, Class, and Company standards.
• Oversee day-to-day management, maintenance, and repair, as well as budget planning, survey schedules, and internal audits/inspections.
• Coordinate with 3rd party organizations, including Flag, Class, Insurers, and Suppliers.
• Familiarize yourself with ISM and ISPS codes and work closely with internal departments.
• Conduct periodic appraisals of Senior Officers and participate in the Crisis Management Team.

• Qualified Marine Engineer with Unlimited CoC or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience working with Ro-Ro Vessels and operations is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Flexible approach to work and ability to work independently and within a team environment.
