The European Telecommunications Office (ETO) Services team is responsible for developing and deploying new customer propositions across the EU region. As a result, we have a dynamic scope and a varied remit, being involved in proposition creation, content and services strategic direction and commercial partnerships.
Reporting into the VP of Content & Services team in Europe, this role has the potential to improve the lives of millions of users of Samsung devices by unlocking new user scenarios, services, enhancements and values through partnerships across Europe. Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive partnership strategy for Samsung Europe, aligning with the company’s short and long-term business objectives.
Present partnership strategies and performance updates including a qualified and accurate pipeline to senior leadership, aligning with both strategic and commercial goals.
Identify, research, and engage potential partners across various verticals, including online merchants, airlines, ticket providers, transit, content and other service providers.
Develop and deliver compelling pitch materials, leading the full partnership cycle from initial engagement & closing commercials to deployment and in-life implementation.
Negotiate and secure new business agreements to enhance functionality, drive revenue, and increase engagement.
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners, whilst supervising and optimising the performance of existing partnerships, handling partner roadmaps and future propositions.
Influence the internal development roadmap to increase appeal and alignment/support to partner needs.
Drive revenue growth by demonstrating partnerships to improve Samsung’s product and service offerings.
Identify new market opportunities and growth sectors within digital wallet, content, and payment programs.
Advocate for new functionalities and partnerships to support product and proposition development.
Reporting, Management, and Operations:
Lead and manage a direct team of EU partnership development managers as well as a virtual team across Europe.
Your key people management responsibilities:
Support the development of your team through regular mentoring, coaching and feedback, 1:1s and on the job learning opportunities.
Role model inclusion for your team to build trust and psychological safety.
Ensure communication with your team is a core focus area including cascade of information from LT’s and relevant business updates.
